The owners wanted a home that embraced the water without competing with it. We delivered a low-profile design with expansive glazing on the lake side, a standing-seam zinc roof, and an interior material palette of white oak and polished concrete that keeps the focus on the views.
The main living spaces occupy a single open volume that runs the full width of the home. A double-height ceiling in the great room is anchored by a board-formed concrete fireplace that serves as both a visual anchor and a structural element dividing public and private zones.
Outdoor living was central to the design. A cantilevered deck extends over the slope toward the lake, with an outdoor kitchen and fire pit area below. The dock and boathouse were coordinated alongside the main build to ensure a cohesive design language throughout the property.
